As a Design Engineer within our Low & Medium Voltage (L&MV) Underground Cables
Engineering Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving cable
products that meet the highest quality and performance standards while ensuring compliance
with industry regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key role in
the innovation and advancement of our cable solutions.
Responsibilities:

• Tenders / Enquiries / Awarded orders
• Interpret customer specifications into design concepts
• Participate in technical meetings with customers
• Conduct research and analysis to identify customer needs and industry trends, and
  incorporate findings into product designs.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to innovate and improve cable products, considering
  cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and performance.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and testing to ensure products meet
  performance and safety requirements.
• Review and update existing cable designs to optimize for efficiency and reliability.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure the smooth transition of designs into
  manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical support and expertise to the sales and customer service departments.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, and ensure compliance in cable
  designs.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in the design of low and medium voltage cables, ideally in a
  manufacturing or cable production environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to cable design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Highly energetic, motivated and self-starter
• Willing to work in an environment that allows initiative and requires flexibility

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the smooth and safe operation of electrical equipment.
• Preventive control and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Repair or replacement of electrical components.
• Investigation – resolution of production line operation problems in cooperation with
  technicians/operators.
• Compliance with safety rules and use of the necessary personal protection
  measures.

Requirements:

• Degree in the field of Electrical Engineering or Automation Technological Education
• Experience of at least 1 year in electrical equipment installations.
• Electrical Installation Technician License Group 2, Group A, Specialty A.
• Ability to read, understand and update electrical drawings.
• Good knowledge of English language.
• Ability to work on an alternating shift schedule.
• Team spirit, organizational skills, commitment to productivity targets, time
  management.
